"Spatial architecture for cellular delivery vehicles"

Nanoparticle (NP) drug delivery using polymeric carriers is actively growing approach increasing the specificity, safety and efficiency of the drug therapy. NPs are also capable to serve as delivery vehicles for genes and soon for nanosize reactors and devices. Changing paradigm from drug delivery to cellular treatment and ultimately cellular prosthetics requires novel approaches for NP vehicle design.

Starting with hypothesis that sensory and effector cells could be stimulated individually by affinity targeted nanodevices, we are discussing and reviewing experimental development the principles of NP polarization, advance of the novel technologies for NP shell coating, the standardization of the functional tests for NP interactions and signal delivery to cells in culture.
